   Did the Democratic party and the DNC screwed up big time?
   If they picked Sanders to run against Trump, he would have won and be President today.
   How sad is that?

   It's really too bad  that no one see's Sanders for exactly what he is - An Ideological , intellectual elitist , totally divisive , not even that intellectual really .  I live in Bernie's state , I was born here and Bernie migrated  here , obviously from NYC .in the seventies .    Became a social worker at times , a deadbeat  at times , a on again off again local mayoral candidate at times   and  AT NO TIME  did he ever hold down a real job .    But a political one , mayoral candidate ,  finally senator .
   
   But always the extremist  in the short sighted  hyper liberal state of Vermont . WOW ,  that makes him some kind of a  messiah  of liberal intellectual  idealists  .   Every speech he either makes ,has ever made ,  writes or borrows is  heavily  worded to include  what liberal pundits everywhere  condone as  "free " entitlements from Government  tax dollars , in the beginning  , the city of Burlington Vt. , his home ,  then the state speeches , then the senate speeches , now the presidential speeches .
   
   The only reason FOR his popularity is this .     The younger targeted generational  entitlement driven listener !
   
   Bernie Sanders HAS BEEN no great prize for his "home " state of Vermont !  Google up our  quality of living statistics , the REAL ones .  In different universes I would gladly pass him off to the star wars mentality of the alternate universe of younger  liberals - Only problem is , that would have been to the presidency of the United States  and NOT  another planet .

   As an interesting side story - There is an old rumor  around Bernie and my home state of Vermont that while Bernie was a younger man  , he lived in an apartment building  ,living loosely with his bill paying habits , while not paying his rent , he also was known to acquire  his electricity by plugging extension cords into the landlords basement outlets .
   
   And THAT is the  mentality and the politically entitled  life promise under a Bernie presidency , Live high off the hog - plugged into some other fools outlets !
   
   Yeeaa , I'm gonna go vote for Bernie ........Not !

      The state of our democracy is in jeopardy when a socialist like Bernie is the most popular Senator.
      Our next generation better learn the Constitution and our govenment, how it is designed to function.
      God help us!

         Oh yes , I'm afraid they have bought into that  lock , stock and barrel . and here's the thing , around here Bernie targets,  one  , college age  students are where he generally gives all of his speeches , and two  Vermont [ 80 percent legislatively liberal ]is a very liberal state probably ranking   2nd or third behind the financial disaster  that is California.  Primary populated by older ex NY state , New Jersey , Mass.  hippy era liberals who came here in the sixties and early seventies  .
         
         That IS the only reason he has risen to ANY political popularity .
