What do you think of Bernie Sanders filibuster in the Senate?
He is against the tax deal and the estate tax favoring the wealthy because he thinks we can do better. He is against increasing the national debt with these tax breaks for the very rich.
Whether I agree with his reasons for filibustering or not, I totally agree with his method. A filibuster should require the senator(s) in question to actually stand up and talk for as long as they can, no breaks, until the bill gets killed. This fake filibuster that's been allowed for the past several years is a crock.
''these tax breaks for the very rich.''
TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH, WHO IS HE REFERRING TO?
The president? The small businessman who makes $250,000 and represents or employees 75% of the workforce ?
Most congressional offices have a budget of over $1 million dollars. HOW ABOUT CUTTING THEIR OFFICES FIRST!.
Didn't the President once say '' we need to spread the wealth ''
