Does anyone know of a natural pain relief method for this illness?
Now this is quite painful, your body aches in different places, get tired quickly and some days are a real struggle to get mobile. Have a friend who has this and she uses hot peppers, chilli in her foods along with rosemary cut very finely. The rosemary is used in small amounts either roasted on meats or in the base of bread. Hope this helps.
Compression sleeves and stockings help with the pain.
Read up on auto-immune perspective and educate yourself on detoxing your body.
So the hot peppers, chilli and rosemary help???

Do you eat enough protein?
You likely need more protein.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 15 years ago, and the doctor prescribed muscle relaxers and an anti-depressant. I didn't like the way the drugs made me feel so I stopped taking them, did my own research and changed a few things in my life. Within 3 months I no longer had any pain. Here is what I did:
1) I made sure I got at least 8 hours of sleep every night (previously, I was averaging 6-7). To help with this, I took Valerian (an herbal sleep aid) before bed.
2) I took St. John's Wort, an herbal anti-depressant.
3) I took Siberian Ginseng, to enhance the immune system and combat fatigue.
4) I started walking every day.
5) I ate healthier -- increased fruits and veggies, stayed away from sugar and junk food, increased whole grains.
I understand that this might not work for everyone who has fibromyalgia and sometimes I wonder if I was misdiagnosed. But, I had the constant overall body pain, plus the intense pain in the typical pressure points. All of that went away after three months and it has never returned.

My sister-in-law refused to take her prescribed medications due to their side effects, she goes to the casino for fun whenever she experiences the pain. It relieves her pain because she enjoys what she does. But a friend of mine, who has this prognosis uses alternative medicine to avoid side effects of the prescribed medicines.
My mom sent me a detoxifying method. The method that was featured by a wellknown endocrinologist. My siblings and parents tried it and they liked the after effect. They've moved some toxins after 5 days.
