League of Legends Counter Picks: BEST Counter Picks for Champions
One of the key elements to become a pro in League of Legends is knowing how to counter pick. That's why there's so much tactic in the champion selection screen - if certain key champions are chosen at the wrong time, the enemy team can counter pick and pick the game a lot harder.
Assuming they know how to counter pick, that is.
In this guide I will give you a complete list of all the League of Legends counter picks. Remember that you should find a balance between your experience with a champion, and their ability to counter the enemy.
You don't want to be playing a champion you've never played before just for the sake of counter picking.

Complete Champion Counter Pick List (In Alphabetical Order)
Aatrox: Jax, Leblanc, Fiora, Teemo
Ahri: Leblanc, Talon, Swain, Annie
The key to beating Ahri lies on two things: being able to aim while she flies around the screen, and having the correct CC to lock her down. Annie is perfect against Ahri because of her easy-to-land abilities.
Akali: Annie, Mordekaiser, Swain, Morgana, Garen
Alistar: Janna, Lulu, Annie
Amumu: Shyvana, Lee Sin, Dr. Mundo
Anivia: Fizz, Kassadin, Orianna, LeBlanc
Annie: Brand, Orianna, Morgana, Lux
Champions with range or sustainability, or champions that can survive an Annie burst will do well. The best choice against Annie is Morgana or Lux.
Ashe: Ezreal, Graves, Sivir
Any champion with hard CC and long range can beat Ashe. Hard CC for your support will also beat Ashe.
Blitzcrank: Alistar, Leona, Thresh, Amumu
No matter what champion you pick, if you get grabbed (especially in the end game), you are immediately at a disadvantage. Choose champions that are tanky enough to survive a Blitzcrank grab, or better yet: a champion that can use the gap-closer to their advantage. Alistar, Leona, Amumu, and Thresh are all champions that work well with Blitzcrank pulling them closer to the enemy team.
Brand: Kassadin, Fizz, LeBlanc
Caitlyn: Sivir, Jinx, Varus
Beating Caitlyn in lane can be difficult. You'll definitely be losing during the early stages, so you want to choose champions that can harass her back effectively, or be able to 1v1 her with solid range. Sivir is a good choice because of her strong Q and her spellshield. Sivir can literally just walk around the field and recharge her mana by stepping on snares or getting in the way of a Caitlyn Q.
Cassiopeia: LeBlanc, Fizz, Talon
Cho'Gath: Warwick, Kayle, Aatrox
Corki: Caitlyn, Draven, Varus
Darius: Kayle, Yorick, Jayce, Teemo
Darius = No range or movement abilities. Use his melee set to your advantage. Choose champions that are longer range such as Kayle, Yorick, Jayce, or Teemo to fight against him. Just don't get pulled!
Diana: Mordekaiser, Irelia, Riven
Dr. Mundo: Trundle, Kog'Maw, Aatrox, Darius
Draven: Varus, Caitlyn
Draven is hard to counter due to his high damage. Long range champions with great poking abilities work well. Choose a support that is sturdy and can peel for you.
Elise: Yorick, Mordekaiser, Wukong
Evelynn: Ryze, Kassadin, Mordekaiser
Ezreal: Graves, Miss Fortune, Draven
Fiddlesticks: Janna, Diana, Xin Zhao, Alistar
A Pro Janna can screw up Fiddlesticks big time. Janna should be an insta-pick when Fiddlesticks is on the other team.
Fiora: Pantheon, Malphite, Singed, Jax
Fizz: Mordekaiser, Kayle, Ryze, Diana
Galio: Udyr, Talon, Janna
Janna screws up Galio's ultimate. Make sure you use her if Galio is picked on the other team.
Gangplank: Pantheon, Fiora, Udyr, Jax
Garen: Teemo, Elise, Aatrox, Pantheon
Gragas: Yasuo, Fizz, Aatrox
Graves: Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, Sivir

Hard CC is the way to counter Katarina, a lot more than other champions. Lissandra ult, Malzahar ult, Fiddlesticks fear, or any other champion with easy-to-land CC is suitable against Katarina.

Kennen: Yorick, Swain, Ryze, Janna
Kha'Zix: Lee Sin, Pantheon, Rengar, Yorick
Kog'Maw: Sivir, Draven, Jinx
LeBlanc: Syndra, Galio, Sion, Mordekaiser, Morgana
Don't expect to win your lane against LeBlanc. Be aggressive Pre-level 3, but after that stay back, get magic resist, and be defensive. The trick to beating LeBlanc is to NOT die, since she's a horrible farmer. If you survive, it's just as good as farming her.
Lee Sin: Udyr, Fiora, Trundle
Leona: Morgana, Alistar, Janna, Lulu
Lissandra: Lux, LeBlanc, Kassadin, Anivia, Orianna
Lucian: Draven, Jinx, Ezreal
Lulu: Soraka, Sona, Sivir, Syndra
Lux: Talon, Fizz, Kassadin, Yasuo
Silencing, mobility, and sustainability is the best way to beat lux. Talon is a great counter to Lux and can easily burst her down from 100 to 0 in the duration that she is silenced. Kassadin is a great pick against her as well due to his bursty damage.
Malphite: Rumble, Cho'Gath, Vladimir, Rumble
Malzahar: Gangplank, Galio, LeBlanc, Ziggs
Maokai: Shyvana, Dr. Mundo, Teemo
Master Yi: Jax, Pantheon, Teemo, Rammus
Miss Fortune: Tristana, Draven, Caitlyn
Mordekaiser: Zyra, Swain, Garen, Cassiopeia

In most cases, Morgana lanes will be all about her farming and pushing the lane. Use this opportunity to farm up. Get champions that push harder than her, such as Anivia. A perfect counter for aggressive play styles is Talon since he can silence her.
