Do you need a great breakfast idea for Mom's on the go? Have you forgotten what breakfast is? Breakfast is ESSENTIAL to a healthy lifestyle. I myself was wondering why I was so tired all the time. My doctor asked me about my diet. For the first time in my life I actually thought about it! Did I eat breakfast? Almost never! When I did have breakfast did I eat nutritiously? NEVER - Unless you count the blueberry muffin and an orange juice from Dunkin Donuts nutritious. Which of course you can't. The muffin is full of sugar and orange juice is full of sugar! Talk about starting your day off wrong and if you have diabetes running in your familly like I do, that is no way to keep diabetes at bay! I eat a healthy lunch and dinner most of the time but breakfast - who has time???
Thankfully, I found something GREAT! Not only is it healthy and nutritious but it is quick and EASY to make! It is a healthy shake and I have been drinking them for 3 months now. At first I drank 2 shakes a day as meal replacements because I heard they would help you lose weight too. I heard right! I lost the 12 pounds that I needed to lose in a few weeks and that made me very happy. Now, I just drink one shake a day for breakfast and look forward to a productive, energetic day.
Shakes are gross you say? If you are saying that then you have not tried Visalus. You may have heard about the Body By Vi challenge to lose wieght and get fit. This is the challenge that turned me on to the shakes, and these are the very same shakes that are really fantastic! Or maybe you think shakes are boring? Mocha Latte - 1 cup lowfat milk, 1 teaspoon coffee, 1 squirt of chocolate syrup, 6 ice cubes and 2 scoops of Vi-Shape Shake Mix. FABULOUS!
Pineapple Crush - 1 cup lowfat milk, 1/2 cup of crushed pineapple, 6 ice cubes and 2 scoops of Vi-Shape Shake Mix. YUMMY!!!!
Simply Strawberry - 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, 3 ice cubes and 2 scoops of Vi-Shape Shake Mix. Mmmmmmm...Mmmmmm!
Grape Crush - 1 cup cran-grape juice, 6 ice cubes, and 2 scoops of Vi-Shape Shake Mix. TERRIFIC!
