Crazies Continue To Trickle Through My Sanity; a celebration of life

Keeping It Real

Being An Adult

Squinting To Recognize...

...All the strange faces.

Making my way through

Unfamiliar places.

Strain for a sound.

Got weird vibes all around.

My future’s unclear,

Memories of past only traces.

Praying that it’s temporary,

Avoid pain of reality.

Life is death.

Yet worth every breath,

Crazies continue to trickle through my sanity.

Silent Suffering

Silent Suffering,

I refuse to complain.

Reluctance, enduring all the pain.

I accept my role,

Life’s taking its toll.

Thoughts threaten my peace once again.

Gain great strength through my plight.

Only, please, leave some for me tonight.

Knowledge is vast.

Future soon past.

Upside down, inside out, then what’s left is usually right.

Crazies continue to trickle through my sanity.

Celebrate Mortality

Life's Journey, My Reality

Yet Always Present,

My future trumps past,

Feet solid on the ground, I try to stand fast.

Moments fleeting, blink too late.

Obligatory suppression forces me to wait.

Options are endless, choices so vast.

We are the human family, hello to brother.

Blessings sister, father and to mother.

Take us all, keep us sage,

Wisdom down to babes.

Committed to family, still searching for that other.

For jobs beyond, taken prematurely.

Surrounded by pods, this is how it has to be.

Celebrate mortality,

Life's journey, my reality.

With knowledge comes freedom,

Now it all seems so clear to me.

Crazies continue to trickle through my sanity.

I say out loud what others only think. I take great pleasure in expressing the hard core truth about awkward situations at Misscue.Hubpages.
