More than Healing at The Healing Shoppe

Updated on May 24, 2011

My Extraordinary Experiences

The first time I stepped into this extraordinary facility I was blown away by the loving energy that welcomed me. Immediately, I knew that this was a place in which the employees loved their jobs. There were no phony smiles greeting you at the door because their employers demanded them.

These were genuine smiles radiating from the heart.

I felt blessed to be there. It was an honor to be a part of the positive energy that permeated the Shoppe.

I was referred to this shop by my Soul Buddy, Julie. She was referred by our mutual friend, Elisa, who was referred by Rudy, a practitioner at the Healing Shoppe.

My first healing at the Shoppe happened during “The Medicine Circle.” It was facilitated by Rudy, a Native American Spiritual Healer. During The Medicine Circle, Rudy drummed and sang. These two things, along with his passion, took me to another place and time. The drumming is very powerful. Its pulsations were very therapeutic to my body, mind, and soul. We also played a Native American game in which we applied our intuition. This was quite fun. It teaches you to trust your instincts. Then, at the end of the class we used energy healing to those that wanted healing. I found the energy healing to be extremely beautiful. I especially enjoyed Elisa’s drumming during my energy healing treatment. The drum’s vibrations are very soothing and transforming.

My second experience at The Healing Shoppe was Monique’s “Inner Child Workshop.” This was absolutely amazing. Monique, a gentle and compassionate Soul, took us through a relaxing visual meditation in which we reflected on a childhood memory. After the meditation, we were asked to draw a picture of the memory. However, we were told that we had to draw with our left hand.

Right, this is going to work!

But after I was done, I was speechless. I could not believe that I captured the exact emotion I felt during my childhood. My loving Soul wanted me to let go of this painful episode that I managed to suppress for most of my adult life.

Another amazing experience included my wife, Marilyn. We both received a Thai Massage by Hector. His positive and enthusiastic energy made the experience quite amazing. At first I was taken by surprise, because Thai Massage is much different than the Swedish massage that I had received before.

This massage is almost like yoga and massage combined together. However, it is much more than that. I felt connected. The massage leaves you feeling relaxed yet energized.

About the Founders

The founders of the Shoppe are Rick McFall, CCHT and Dr. Diane Heaton, MFT. Rick is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Reiki Teaching Master. He also does Energy Healing and EFT, as well as Intuitive Card Readings. Diane is a Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, and Licensed Local Pastor.

The Healing Shoppe was born through Diane’s own personal healing, which involved working through her breast cancer. Both Diane and Rick wanted a place that offered low-cost healing therapies for the general public.

I am deeply honored and touched by these two beautiful Souls in their desire to heal the world. Diane and Rick are tremendously appreciative of their practitioners and faculty, for they know that we all have the capacity to make this world a better place.

Last Words

For all of you that have a dream of making the world a better place, I suggest that you follow your heart. Your heart is wise beyond measure. Do not let your fears stop you from doing what you love. There are far too many individuals wasting their time with jobs they dislike. Why do you want to be another statistic? Instead, why don't you "dance to the beat of a different drum?"
