   Am I going blind?
   
   What are these little, white dots that dance in my vision? They're like small fireflies. I paw at the air like a cat, but I can't touch them. And it doesn't happen constantly, just at odd times in the day. Like if I turn my head. Someone told me they see them, too, and think it's just old age. But I'm 24. Is that old? Maybe. Or maybe I'm going blind. The eye doctors already told me I might have glaucoma. Maybe that's what's causing this. Anyone else see this crap or have any idea what it is?

   I get them from time to time I'm 22. Never asked a doctor about it before hope you get some answers. All I can tell u is your not alone and I don't think its old age.

   It's not old age.  It's happened to me a few times in my life but not common.  I have eye problems but that is not one of them.
   
   You should have your eye pressure measured.  You may have blood pressure problems.  Some people who get migraines have that more often.
   
   Make sure you are getting your vitamins to keep your eyes healthy.  Take a daily supplement with minerals included.

   I've seen something like that a couple of times before.
   I was freaking out, Man. Just like you said, pawing at them. I was just looking at this white wall, and then all of a sudden there were these little 3D dots all over it. It was intense.

   Did you rub your eyes before seeing these dots? It could be because of that. Neck pain and a lot of medical conditions can be associated with this phenomenon. If you notice any specific action that is followed by those dots, tell that to your doctor.

   It means a bit higher eye pressure then normal, what has nothing to do with age. Lineseed oil and vitamin C can keep intraocular pressure  down, so condition will not progress. Spend enough ot time on sunshine and fresh air, sleep as much as you need, so your eyes can regenerate.
   
   I have started to see them in the childhood, once I woke up in the middle of the night and was able to see whole universe around me (planets, moons, asteroids....dancing around in 3D around me in shining colours). After that incredible vision that lasted for more then an hour, all what was left were  fireflies (the same as on your photo) and I can see them on regular basis. More then 38 years  since this started, my eyes are OK, condition did not develop in anything at all, actually I would be very sorry to completely lose this dots and fireflies - BTW, mine are gold and silver.
   
   And yes - rubbing the eyes can cause this phenomena to any person, no matter if intraocular pressure is normal or a bit higher.

   Try to see the doctor sometimes just to make sure  that if there is any other condition, you do what is best needed for that.
   
   Sometimes we get tired, stressed, malnourished from a lack of vitamins or minerals, don't get enough sleep, sun, fresh air, don't drink enough water, eat too much sweet, salty, fatty stuff, drink too much alcohol, coffee, soda, soft drinks, don't eat enough fresh veggies and fruits, eat dry cereal instead of whole grain hot cereal, get things too personally, don't exercise, etc.
   
   So there's too much stuff that can affect us and have all kinds of effect on us. It's can be one of those common things.
   Stay in the best shape you can and take care.

   Have you had migraines before? When i start with a migraine the first sign, is my vision and it can start when i am stressed. My vision can be affected in different ways, what you discribe is not unusual to me, but also after that, it will go into a sort of  tunnel vision. It is in that window that i must  take some tablets to reduce the duration of the migraine. Not saying that it is what you have but itis worth looking into it.  Hope you find out and get sorted quickly.

    The first time I had this happen I was in college.  I was completely freaked out and asked my mom, who is a nurse, if it could be retinal detachment.  After she was done clutching her side with laughter and wiping the tears from her eyes, she told me I should lay off the caffeine and get a decent night's sleep.  I only seem to have this happen when I'm burning the candle at both ends, as they say, and neglecting my diet.
