Summer time is one of the funnest seasons other than Spring-time. The summer heat is good for getting a sun-tan, or just getting 15 minutes of vitamin D from the sun-rays daily. In some states the summer heat can reach up to about 120° Fahrenheit; maybe higher. There is no fun like summer fun; the heat plays a big part in that. Summer time is; swimming pools, beaches, barbecues, fishing, playing, parties, carnivals, zoos, patio relaxing, and the list goes on. Summer officially only last about 2 months; so we should enjoy it when it's here. Many memories can be made in the summer's moments.
Summer time Events
Meeting new friendships can be one of the memories, also: romances, dating, taking photos of family and friends, boat riding, and just enjoying the cool summer breeze at night-time. Summer events can bring family and friends closer. Family can play games together such as: word games, board games, kick ball, tennis, dodge ball, volley-ball, and other fun activities. Or you can keep it simple and just have summer lunches with the whole family, something like; sandwich platters, and a jug of lemonade. Having summer birthday parties are the best. Also adding barbecue to the party is a plus. A summer birthday party can consist of: food, drinks, cool desserts, water balloons, swimming pool, music or a DJ, a clown or entertainment-performers, contest games, dancing, and just plain fun. Oh yea, everyone will like a cool and breezy night of singing along with karaoke.

Stay hydrated; Drink 5 - 8 ounces of fluids daily, preferably water.The best drinks to consume in the summer are: water, orange juice, cranberry juice, apple juice, pomegranate juice, tomato juice, carrot juice, fruit smoothies, and other healthy drinks that assist with dealing with the summer's extreme heat.

Summer isn't just about all fun, but about safety also. Stay cool with a rotating fan, air conditioning, ice cream, popsicles, cold drinks, ice cubes, sun block, UV sunglasses, and water of course.
Getting sleep in the summer, whenever you can, is very important. Take a nap in the daytime to prevent fatigue. It's important to wear light colored clothing, such as: yellow, white, light pinks, light blues, light orange, light greens and so forth. Try to avoid wearing dark colored shirts, like: black, brown, dark blues, and other dark colors. Wearing light colors will keep you cooler; and darker colors attract heat more.
Sitting in the shade under a tree just to feel the cool wind blow is a smart idea. If you feel your body temperature getting too hot; get a wash rag, put it in cold water and apply it to your forehead, this should lower your body heat a little. Also putting your feet in cool water in the summer is a fun and cooling idea.
Furthermore, to help keep your house cool at night, water your front and back lawns with a water hose or water sprinklers. But never sleep with the fan blowing directly on you; always have the fan's air rotating around the room. And go to sleep in cool and light fitting clothes; sleeping with just sheets on your bed might help.
Summer time Safety Tips
Ways to keep your home cooler is by cleaning dust away, and putting away things that you will not use during the summer, such as: winter clothes, put them in your garage, or in storage, or in boxes, also clean your carpet, buy house flower-plants to put in each room; keep them watered. House plants will keep the home cooler and will provide more oxygen in the home as well. Most of all have fun fun fun in all your summer time events. Remember, stay cool and safe.
