SPIRIT ORBS ON PHOTOS
61ORBS?
Photos taken on a visit to Queenstown, New Zealand in 2008. Have heard about spirit orbs appearing in photos and was very surprised to see these appear.
None appeared in any of my photos in same venues this year!
Is there some obvious physical answer to why they appeared?
Definately not doctored in anyway, I wouldnt know how!
What ever they are they are beautiful in the landscape they appeared in ....

I agree with Chef Jeff!! They are lens reflections of the sunlight. I've been a photographer for 27 years and recognize these reflections. They even have a tool on photoshop now that will create these lens reflections on ever digital image and in the exact spot, and density you program.
Peace ~ K
Agreed. Flare. If you have a DSLR use a lens hood and they will never appear again.
I have seen allegedly paranormal photos showing a wispy something, looked like chemical spills but the negative was undamaged.

They appear to be lens refelections of the sunlight. Interesting but I doubt they are anything paranormal. I often got them when photographing outside and upon really up-close inspection they turned out to be the same shape as my lens aperature. Interesting, though. A friend took digital pictures in Abe Lincoln's house in Springfield IL and got small clouds of whispy, white something in several pictures in what had been the boy's bedroom. The curators say they often get calls from people with similar pictures, but to my knowledge no one has gone there to find out if the place is haunted.
