Akuna Bay is just a 45 minute drive from Sydney. It is a part of Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. It is one of those perfect places for a weekend barbeque. The boat club has various boating enthusiasts like dragon boating, Kayaking, Yatching, Leisure Boating. You can also hire a house boat for rent and ride down the bay all the way Mooney Mooney Creek and beyond (Pacific Ocean).

Akuna Bay also offers camping sites overlooking the bay. These camp sites are fully equipped with electrical outlets and other amenities.

Beware: These camp sites are extremely popular and fill up well in advance during holidays (summer).
