Kris Allen winner of American Idol Season 8 is headed to Disney World and the new American Idol Experience!

Kris Allen is the winer of American Idol, Season 8 is going to celebrate his BIG win!

"To celebrate the newly opened "American Idol Experience" attraction at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Kris Allen shouted the famous words "I'm Going to Disney World!" immediately after being crowned the newest "American Idol" in the show's star-studded season finale on Wednesday night, May 20, in Los Angeles.

Camera crews captured Allen's celebratory pronouncement on the Nokia Theatre stage mere moments after "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest announced the champion's name to millions of viewers watching worldwide.

Not only did the newly crowned Idol shout "I'm Going to Disney World!" at the spot's conclusion, his voice also was featured throughout the ad as he performed the iconic song, "When You Wish Upon A Star."

And with the same immediacy that has made the Disney spot one of the most beloved commercials of all-time, the newest "I'm Going to Disney World!" commercial aired on television within hours of the "American Idol" finale."

"After we left Hawaii, we went to Orlando for the premiere of the American Idol Experience at Disney World. It felt like a family reunion with so many past idol contestants. All 7 winners were there, and Melinda, Phil, Lakisha, Sanjaya, Brooke, and a bunch of other people were there too haha. My older sister came down for the event, and my cousins were already in that area because it was my grandma’s birthday that same day. So they got to come too! It was a reunion with the American Idol family, and my real family. the American Idol Experience was so cool too! It was freakishly similar to the real stage, and I think it’s way cool how people can get a chance to see what it’s like to be in our shoes up on stage performing or watching the show live. We got to ride the rides after doing press."

American Idol is just not big enough is it? So what does a company do to capitalize on the ongoing success and popularity that is enjoyed by millions of people all over the world? Why - they literally go DISNEY!

The American Idol Experience is a new attraction coming to Disney's Hollywood Studio at Disney World - in Orlando, Florida. Believe it or not? Now, everyone can experience what it is like to be an American Idol, compliments of The Disney Company!

Just think of it, your next family vacation could be trying out for American Idol at Disney World, in Orlando, Florida. Disney family vacations completely built around your personal American idol Experience! Wow! Can it possibly get any better than this for a family vacation?

Come to think of it... are all the derogatory comments, that have been made by Simon Cowell on the t.v. show, in relation to some of the American Idol contestants sounding like they belonging singing and performing in a theme park somewhere - just early marketing ploys by the executives at American Idol and Disney?

What is the American Idol Experience at Disney World going to look like? Every aspiring young singer wants the opportunity to sing for Randy, Paula and even Simon Cowell. These talent scouts and judges have the golden ticket - that so many young people would die for! Is this the opportunity that the "American Idol Experience " and attraction will afford for all those when they now head for Orlando, Florida instead of Hollywood, California? Hey, after all, Disney is all about fantasy and making dreams come true!

I am intrigued by this concept that the Disney Company and American Idol are putting together with this coming attraction, The American Idol Experience. No doubt the marketing for this new attraction at Disney World will be important for success. Did anyone happen to note what David Cook's big answer to "Now that you've won American Idol, What will you next?"

Well, guess what David Cook's answer was? He shouted enthusiastically and right into the camera, "I'm going to Disney World"! Of course we all believed that "rocker" David Cook really meant that, right?

Well, thats called "Marketing" at its finest!

What this very "interactive" attraction hopes to accomplish, is to bring the excitement of the highly successful T.V. show, to the theme park visitor. This will be made possible by following the model of the actual show. Park visitors will have the opportunity to audition and perform live on stage in an actual performance and competition. Word has it, that this will mimic quite well the glitzy stage of the actual American Idol television show.

"The experience will include an audition process, which will be open to everyone eligible to register, where guests perform “live” in front of a Disney producer who will cast visitors for each of the multiple theme park shows each day. If candidates make it through the screening process and backstage preparation (including working with a vocal coach, hair stylist and make-up artist), then they appear before the audience and a panel of judges." At the end of the day, these park guest, now serious contestants, will perform and compete in a Grand Finale show at Walt Disney World theme park. What does the winner receive for all this hard work you ask. Well, believe it or not, they will truly receive what is referred to a "DREAM TICKET" -- which will enable them to actually try-out for the American Idol television show, without waiting in those horrific lines to do so.

I think this is great! Who else but the Disney Company could take American Idol and make it even bigger? Apparently, this is exactly what the people want and are willing to pay big bucks to experience! Nobody does it better than DISNEY!
