Battery Powered Christmas Lights
Battery Operated Christmas Lights
Christmas is, for many, the favorite time of year. There's something majestic about it - all the lights, the spirit of giving... the friendliness. It's an unparalleled tradition that has lasted centuries; each year it becomes stronger and more loved. Perhaps in a age where so many things are going wrong we need at least one thing that is right.
One of the great traditions of Christmas is for every home to have a set of Christmas lights. We string them across the roof of our homes, the shrubs in our gardens, the Christmas trees inside our houses; we make them display an array of colors, red, green. white. Then we turn them on and display to the world - a small shared gift of Christmas. If you're in a lucky neighborhood you might even get in a competition with an opposing neighbor.
Wait.
What if you don't have a plug, or the money to pay for the electricity bill for that matter, to turn your Christmas lights on? It would be an awful shame to lose a Christmas light battle before it even started. Luckily we've invented a thing called batteries - or, as I like to call it, portable electricity. And, yes, that means, like the title states, battery power Christmas lights do exist.

What are Battery Powered Christmas Lights?
Battery powered Xmas lights are exactly how they sound - Christmas lights that don't need a cord, or an electric outlet to run. The lights usually features one or two battery packs - usually at each end of the lights - and take AAA or AA batteries. Some battery powered Christmas lights will include removable battery packs, meaning you can put the pack anywhere on the line of lights - wherever is convenient for you.
The immediate benefit of this is portability, as well as creativity. You're no longer limited to where the nearest outlet is - you don't have to sift through storage for one or two extension cords either - but can put the lights anywhere you see fit. One click of the on switch on the battery pack and you're good to go.
