56What Makes You Content?
Being content takes alot of work. What makes you content when your going through alot of things you feel you can do without? Most of my hubs are short, this helps readers to come back, some don't like long and lasting reads. If it comes with a message to your heart it's ok. READING is a hobby and it keeps us coming back to read more when their short and right to the point.
What Can Man Do To Me?
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, "I will never fail you nor forsake you." Hence we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?"
Hebrews 13:5,6 RSV
Sometimes we can be so content as we go on through life, then the trials and storms hit us and we tend to panic.
Being content takes alot of practice. We have to realize that with Christ comes pain. Being content in what we have and what we do will increase our faith. We can pray for material things but they won't make us happy, God knows this and He knows us.
Even thought we go through hard ships its so hard to sit and beconten, but if we ponder on scripture we can have that contentment. Paul never gave us, he kept on going no matter the pain, for He trusted Jesus and knew one day He would make it right.
When you going throught something call on God and take that contentment while you ponder on His ways and HIS love for you, keep focus.

Things come and go. When you take the time to really think about it, in JESUS you really have everything that you will ever need. His promise that "He WILL supply ALL your needs" Is true and yes, "He will never leave nor forsake you!"

What a gift we have knowing the Father is always at hand, especially in those times when we struggle the most. Without Him we have nothing.
I have always had trouble being content. I wanted things like a house instead of an apt. A van instead of a car. More financial freedom, etc. I have learned though that the things we really need God will provide and in that I have learned to be content.
As always just pure wisdom!! another great hub that blessed me JMJ!

I can so relate...I'm usually pretty content but boy when we didn't have a home, I struggled daily..The apartment we have now is just right but I'm on week 3 without a job and panic is setting in.
