Bikinis For Men

Updated on October 16, 2009

Boots with your swimsuit? You're doing it wrong...

It's summer time in the Northern Hemisphere (or the Southern Hemisphere if you read this in six months time,) and lads and ladies are hitting  beaches, swimming pools and sprinklers across one half of the globe. Many ladies will be wearing bikinis, and quite a few men will as well.

Of course, a speedo is not all that different than a bikini bottom, which means that many men could be wearing bikini bottoms without anyone knowing.

Things get a little more obvious when a guy puts on a bikini top however, but the summer heat excuses a lot of behavior. If you happen to have a drink in your hand, you'll probably be forgiven any kind of dress. Everyone has that friend who insists on putting a dress whenever he gets a little tipsy, because alcohol is the great excuser. It doesn't matter what you do, if you do it drunk, you didn't really mean it.

This excuse has been used to great effect throughout history to excuse cheating, stealing, and the occasional genocide. 'Dude, I was so wasted, before I knew it an entire country had been put to the sword. It was wicked, dude.'

So, anyway, should you be a guy and wish to wear a bikini, I encourage you to go for it, preferably without too many Mai Tais, mixing swimming and alcohol can lead to inconvenient things, like death by drowning. Feel free to carry an alcoholic beverage with you if you think that it will aid in the social acceptance of your attire.

When it comes to choosing a bikini, be ready to be inundated with a flood of choices. Because bikinis are designed largely for women, there is a color and cut to suit every body type. High cut bikinis are excellent for lengthening the leg, for example, and if you happen to have a bit of a belly on you, there are bikinis designed to control your stomach and make you look hot even in your oh so skimpy attire.

I have written on men and bikinis before, that article may very well be relevant to your interests, and you can find it by clicking this link.

Stay tuned over the next week or two for more in depth bikini exposure and analysis, where we'll be discussing what bikinis really work for men. I have a feeling we might even be lucky enough so see some pictures of men wearing bikinis. If you have a picture you'd like to share, pass it along to submit@hewearspanties.com
