Blue Fin Chardonnay Review
63Another California Chardonnay
My husband was shocked when I brought home another white wine (I tend to stick to red wine or the occasional sparkling wine). But, I'm on a roll, plus the bottle of this 2005 California Chardonnay looked pretty.
Oh yeah...and only $3.99, so if it tasted bad, I knew I wouldn't be wasting too much money.

The Wine Goof's Review
Honestly, it doesn't have a strong flavor, which is a good thing. I think one of the reasons I don't like white wines much is because of their strong, sometimes tangy, flavors.
The Blue Fin Chardonnay definitely has a citrus accent to it, but it is subtle. In fact, I'm still trying to decide if it tastes more like pear or green apple, than citrus.
It is smooth and refreshing to drink. Really, when you have it in your mouth, it soothes your taste buds. The gentle aftertaste gives you a soft kiss. I recommend this wine for those of you trying to acquire the taste for white wine.
Because it has such a subtle flavor, it goes well with strongly spiced foods (I tried it with spicy Mexican, yummy goodness--and I liked it).
I'll give it: Four Fingers
