Chakras are the seven power points of life force in the human body that circulates energy. The meaning of the word 'chakra' is 'wheel of light' in sanskrit language. The Third Eye Chakra is located between the eyes and is associated with the pituitary gland, eyes, nose, ears and skeletal system. The color associated with the third eye chakra is Indigo. The Throat Chakra is located at the throat and is associated with thyroid gland, lungs and respiratory system. The color associated with the throat chakra is Blue. The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine and groin and is associated with adrenals, kidneys, muscles and blood. The color associated with the root chakra is Red.
