Conceiving And Fertility Drugs

The numbers are staggering as it has been documented based on case studies that 60% to 80% of all women who take clomiphene (Clomid or Serophene) will ovulate, and approximately one half of all women will conceive as a result of taking (Clomid or Serophene). Most first time pregnancies occur within the first three cycles.

There are some side effects to taking Clomid or Serophene however they are generally mild. They include bloating, hot flashes, headache, blurred vision and nausea. Clomid or Serophene can also cause changes in the cervical mucus, which may make it a little more complicated to tell when you are fertile and may inhibit the sperm from entering the uterus. Clomid can increase of having multiple births, it is however less likely to cause the problem like some of the inject-able hormones.

If Clomid or Serophene is not successful at your chances of becoming pregnant your doctor may certainly recommend that you recieve inject-able hormones to have a greater chance at conceiving and the injections will also stimulate the ovulation.

Hunan Chorionic Gonadotropin(HCG) common names Pregnyl, Novarel,Ovidrel, and Profasi. One of these commonly named injections are normally used along with other fertility medications to enable the ovaries to release the mature egg or eggs.

Ovulation stimulating drugs also increase the chance of multiple pregnancy which can be risky for both mother and child/children.
