Conspiracy Sites On The Internet

Ever Wonder What's Going On Behind Your Back?

OK maybe I'm not the brightest bulb on the block -but I did graduate with honors from college so there IS something good upstairs. Add a highly creative mind and you've got a brain that is ripe for seeking out Conspiracy Sites on the Internet.

So what is the definition of a conspiracy anyways? According to Wiki- this is what a conspiracy means:

Conspiracy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Conspiracy may refer to a alternative version or plot to a story:

Types of Conspiracies:

  • Cabal, an association between religious, political, or tribal officials to further their own ends, usually by intrigue
  • Conspiracy (civil), agreement between persons to break the law in the future
  • Conspiracy (crime), agreement between persons to break the law in the future, in some cases having committed an act to further that agreement
  • Conspiracy (political), a plot to overthrow a government or other power

So according to Wiki, a conspiracy usually has to do with some type of law breaking activity. Personally when I think of a conspiracy I always think of a coverup of some sort, (which I guess in retrospect would probably involve some aspect of breaking the law)

So on to how I became involved in conspiracies and conspiracy theories:

Just for some background on me, I probably should have been in some think tank somewhere because that's just the way my brain operates- being both right and left brain balanced ( which means I think creatively and also analytically- supposedly balanced anyways)

In hindsight, I've always been sort of a rebel anyway. I was never much for politics growing up except to argue with my dad on how the Vietnam war could end. I came from a very patriotic military family so I have a strong sense of pride in my country ( my beloved dad was a World War 2 veteran, my brother served during the Vietnam days and my husband was also a Marine- semper fi ) so I love the good old U S of A- BUT- and there is a big but here- in the last few years I have read some very disturbing things about things going on in our government and in politics that I had no clue about.

The path that led me down this road of knowledge is when I found out years ago that there had been coverups about the upcoming climate change and that many, many years ago it was known that we should have been doing something about our consumption of gas and oil. (we are now reaping the disasterous results of those decisions, aren't we?)

So onto the conspiracies- in a quest for the truth about this and many other things, I decided to do some research- internet little researcher that am- and lo and behold- I actually found other like minded people that were also searching for answers. I also found that there were actual websites dedicated to the quest for truth and enlightenment on matters such as 911, climate change, the economic crisis, Chem-trails ( or contrails if you call them that) and various other things of life that I had not known existed before this.

One such site is GodLikeProductions- Now I only give you this site with a word of caution- there are some really far out ideas being thrown around there some days- but for the most part, if you weed through the silly stuff you can actually find some gems of information. There is information there that would both scare and amaze you. That's the other word of caution I throw out there: Do not go to these sites expecting easy answers to your questions. Conspiracies get much more involved than that- but I can say that there is plenty of stuff for the theorists over there- and it certainly makes one wonder about the state of our earth, our country and our lives.

Get The Most Up To Date News at GLP

The best thing I can say with certainty about this site is that if you want the MOST UP TO DATE NEWS on goings on around the world- chances are that you will most likely HEAR ABOUT THE NEWS FIRST over on GodLikeProductions (GLP for short). Many times I see news there before it even hits the mainstream media, which makes me wonder- how does a site like GLP get information so fast and our own news outlets lag behind? (I'd say that's fodder for a conspiracy right there!)

Another site that I frequent is AboveTopSecret. The venue is a little different and there are some very interesting discussions going on. Topics and conversations about things like UFOs to the latest information about incoming NEOs (Near Earth Objects). I really like Above Top Secrets tag line- DENY IGNORANCE!. And once you visit Above Top Secret, you can no longer deny the fact that there are definitely things going in our world that demand more investigation!

Now none of this information is given to scare you, only to enlighten you to the other aspects of our world that we don't always think about.

I mean really, if something is going to happen to our earth that's catastrophic, I doubt we'd know about it beforehand anyway ( I'm sure the information would get suppressed somehow) However, I think it's good to keep up with world events, and to know what's going on on in the world around us.

So if you'd like to learn more about things that are happening in the world, (and possibly even close to you) you might want to take a gander into one of these sites and just see the sorts of things that are being discussed. It can be very enlightening, and if you're not careful, addicting.

As for me, I used to see a conspiracy around every corner. Now I am more careful about what I put my time and effort into studying, but if you like conspiracies you'll love checking these Conspiracy Sites on the Internet.

(And just as a note of interest: I have not given you the actual links to these sites because there is actually some interesting censoring going about the sites-BUT-I did give you the exact way you need to "google" the sites- another conspiracy in the making I suppose)

Below however is a wonderful link on GLOBAL DISASTER EVENTS that is updated daily- a great source for up-to-date news on disasters around the world.

Hi Dorsi, I like this hub. It is so very challenging and it makes one to think more about society and how it is organized. Especially the leadership behind the scene...

A very nicely written piece. I too, often visit these places, and yes, sometimes there provide further insight and education.

Interesting hub,Dorsi--it is soooo easy to buy into conspiracy theories and there are so many from who killed JFK to the DaVinci Code. I was going to investigate those sites you didn't give the links to but your warning gives me pause--hmmm if I go trhere will I end up on a No Fly list or with Homeland Security tapping my phone? LOL Gosh conspiracy theories are exciting, aren't they? Great, really original hub. Thanks

Hey thanks everybody for stopping by my hub- yes conspiracy theories are sure interesting- and there are alot of them going around-And Robie- well- how can I put this? Let's just say I've already said so much at so many conspiracy sites that I know I'm on THE LIST...lol...(well it's kinda funny but not really if you know what I mean) and I'm almost sure that we are all censored and watched to some extent anyway, so at this point I'm like- OH WELL!!!

Dorsi, fun hub. Regarding those streaks in the sky, I've sat outside and watched them being made by passing jets. Are there really conspirace theories about where they come from? I've gotta laugh.

I dunno how many conspiracies I actually believe in, but I agree that GLP is useful for getting news before anyone else. I usually try to find some other more mainstream source as well, but GLP is often first, if you can sift through the madness.

You are right that there are some complete nutjobs on there and some people who are trying to have a laugh. This makes it quitre an interesting site. Infuriating at times, but interesing non-the-less.

I psot there under this name (Lemoning) occasionally, usually in threads about wars or commodity prices.

Dorsi,

this hub is one that makes you want to know what you probably really don't want to know. Now that is the problem I have with that balanced brain development thing you wrote about at the beginning of the hub. C.S.

Very interesting hub, Dorsi! And you are the second person I have heard in having a prefectly balanced right and left brain; the first one is my mate. He has great analytical skills as most men do, but also has a very creative and sensitive side.  He has known for years that this balance gives him a unique perspective on everything.

I myself spent (some would say wasted) every night for about two months looking into the 911 Consipiracy Theories floating around out there. I finally got to the point where I was becoming very angry and very paranoid about who was watching what sites I was going to. My wake up call came when my sister wanted to talk about some of what I had seen online and I refused to discuss it because I was on my cell phone. I decided then and there that I was becoming "too involved" and "too paranoid" and had to quit looking these conspiracies up cold turkey for lack of a better word. Fair warning for those of you who are thinking about starting!

You did a very good job. There are also many good conspiricy theories on you tube also, such as Lindsy Williams and the enegry non-crisis. He already knew years ago that gas was going up to $4 a gallon, and possilby $6. All because he ministered up in Alaska to those who worked on the pipe lines and oil feilds. He really ties in the Henry Kissenger deals, the war on Iraq, possible war on Iran, and why we can't tap into Alaska oil feilds and bring down the price of gas to around $1.58.

He had seen an oil feild that would last America at least 200 years, and after he left was told about another huge discovered oil feild. It is very interesting to watch and make some sense out of the sensless Iraq war.

I degress, conspiricy theories are very addicting. You really have to come up for air or you will get depressed and parinoid, as the last poster stated. Read only a little, and then stay away from it about a week and get involved with every day life. Then you can dip back into it again. It is like trying to learn about the holocaust. If you dig too deep for too long, it will affect you negatively.

I got into them with a leaning towards the book of revelations in the Bible. I know revelations is going to happen. Many things seem to be coming to a head in one way or another. Wars, rumors of wars, large earth quakes, hurricanes, huge tornadoes, the economy tanking, food prices rising, and etc. With the food and economy Revelations does say a days worth of wages for a loaf of bread.

I'm not sure if it is wasted time. I'm not sure exactly what is true. Maybe for me it is a way to try to make sense of things. Besides ATS does have a very good news section that I don't get from watching the major media, my local news site, or US media.

Always make sure you come up for air, and stay away for as long as you need to. Even though you learn of some of the things possibly happening, there is really nothing you can do about it now short of a revolution. It is getting to the point where it seems who can fight against the powers that be if the leaders of the countries are afraid of them...search for Lindsey Williams on youtube.

I'm a communication tower climber. I work exclusively on microwaves and in the recent year I recently upgraded the entire west coasts communications for the F.B.I. I've also been privleged enough to install microwave hops for many high profile government agencies and city organizations as well. Some of the work was classified as top secret and we did not know even what some of the antennas even were that I've installed.

A supervisor I work with that's been in communications and climbed towers for over 13 years and has "seen it all" made the comment that he's never seen that before. We were outsourced to install a few top secret projects where most people are not willing to do work at. (worlds most deadliest job, sorry alaskan crab fishermen)

Now I myself have always wondered at times about us being the guinea pigs for technology and just thought you might like to consider this tid bit of info. I don't intend for any conspiracy theories to be born here but it's just a little something to make you think.

Wow great hub. If you like conspiracies then check out my hub Don't Drink the Kool Aid. I had never heard of this one until I started nosing around for information about Jonestown. I don't know how true it is but for the most part the facts are adding up. You can do your own research if you like.

I'm really appreciating everyone that has stopped by and made comments about conspiracies. You have all increased everyones knowledge here and I thank you for that! Sometimes it seems we get so much information overload, and it's hard to figure out what to read sometimes. When it comes to conspiracies there are alot of them floating around but I'm sure there is also a alot of truth to some of them!

Dorsi this is second time I heard you say about your being both Right and Left brain balanced AND analytical reasoning and creativity...and you know about the first time you told me of this quality of yours and ---about me. That you are of a Family with Patriotic fervour : makes you feel your concern for your country and so you go deep as you narrated some here.Well politics is another Huge business now and each one involved seriously is a little more cleverer than patriotic simpletons and where there is scope for disguise ( Democracies ) there is ample scope for effective conspiracies.
