A minimum of 3 1/2 carets is recommended to be worn. One can also wear 5, 7,9,11. A ring of this stone in gold or copper is suggested for Mars. This stone should be worn on a Tuesday after washing it in Gangajal and un boiled milk and after touching the stone on the holy feet of Lord Hanuman in after sunrise and before 11 AM.
