Death And Mourning
Death And Mourning-Hand In Hand
Its safe to say that death and mourning go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly or Tom and Jerry.
The thing is people deal with the issue of death and mourning differently. Each person is an individual that needs their own space to do their own thing.
Of course they also need to be with others like family and friends but those people have to understand that sometimes when we are grieving loss we just need some time to our selves.
During the period of mourning you will notice things out of the ordinary. Voices will be amplified and it will just seem like everyone is in your face for some reason or another.
Death And Mourning-Understand Others
When it comes to death and mourning there will be times you just want to scream.
This comes for a number of reasons. You may feel over whelmed, too many people around you or maybe you are mad at the person who passed away.
It is totally understanding for all these reasons and more. The thing you need to remember is the people who are around you just want to be there for you. They want to do what ever they can to help you through this trying period.
If the people around you have never experienced death and mourning they just don't understand that sometimes they are actually the cause of more sorrow rather then help.
As a person grieving in most cases you do need to understand this. If things get to hard for you it is okay to walk away for a while. Usually when you do this people do start to get the hint or at least they start to understand.
Death And Mourning-Let It Happen
When it comes to death and mourning so many people try and be the strong one.
Being the strong one just doesn't cut it at times like this. That means you end up working hard to hold things in that just shouldn't be.
Times like this you need to let go. You need to cry, shout, scream, stamp your feet and what ever else helps you to get through the mourning process.
No one is going to look at you any different if you aren't the strong person you usually are. They all know that you are always there for every one and now its time for pay back. the people you have been there need to be there for you.
Not to mention trying to be the strong one when it comes to death and mourning could end up being very serious. Trying to hold things in for the sake of others could have you end up getting sick. The last thing you need during this time is to be getting sick.
During this time its okay to just let things go. I have no doubt in my mind that every single person will understand and no one will look at you any differently.
Death And Mourning-It Does Get Easier
When it comes to death and mourning you will notice things will eventually get easier.
You will notice yourself crying less and once again starting to smile.
As for a time line as to when things start to get easier there really isn't one. Everyone is different and everyone will have different levels of grief
The important part is not to rush the grieving process in death and mourning. This doesn't mean you cant start moving on with your life. You just have to understand and know that there will be tough times ahead.
Also don't worry about others. If they know you and know what you just went through they will always allow you to have your space.
You will hear the term life goes on and you will hear it a million times. The statement is true and life does go on but you need to let it go on at a pace you are comfortable with.
When it comes to death and mourning the entire world will understand that you need time.
