Delicious Curried Coconut Almond Soup
Curried Coconut Almond Soup

Butter, cream, coconut and slivered almonds ... mm-mm good
I grew up eating homemade soup and homemade bread and have carried my love of tasty nourishing soups into adulthood. The following recipe for curried coconut almond soup combines the spicy flavor of curry with chicken broth, butter and cream, yellow peas, flaked coconut, and almonds for an exotic, rich-tasting and truly special soup.
Yellow peas have been a longstanding favorite for homemade soup. And with good reason. They lend flavor and texture to hearty homemade soups.
