How To Live In A World Of Paradise Without Spending A Fortune
Having Lots Of Money Is Great But Not Always Necessary
Does Being Rich Create Happiness ?
Everyone in the world wants to be rich and have so much money they don't know what to do with it, but is this really necessary to be happy?
I know many people that are well off and some that are millionaires and they are the most miserable people. You know, you can only buy some many material things in life. Sure these people always want bigger and better material things and that is great and I am very happy for them that they are in the position to do this, but as I said they really are not the happiest people at all and they would be the first to tell you.
I can tell you how to live in a world of paradise without spending a fortune just by my own experiences.
There was a time that I had money, not a fortune, and not millions, but it was enough to buy what ever I wanted. I bought and bought until I said, "what is all this material things I am buying? I am not happy even though I have all of this. Cars, boats and all the play toys every guy wants and has, but there was one thing missing and that is happiness, true happiness and not happiness made by having the finest and biggest thing in life.
Sure, in the beginning when you first purchase something you are thrilled to death with your new purchase, but it gets old over time I can assure you. They are only material things that really mean nothing.
Living simple, happy, having good health and debt free is paradise to me. These things have it all over material thing any time of the day.
DOWNSIZING AND BEING HAPPY AS EVER
I recently sold my home and downsized to something over half the size with no storage, no huge garage, no finished basement and the best of all no mortgage. That is paradise to me and not a worry in the world now. No phone bill collectors calling hounding for their past due payments and just living the simple life. These is no better feeling that being free from all debt.
I figured why be house poor and beat myself up over something that can be fixed with a little planing and sacrificing to downsize. No big deal when the outcome is awesome.
I now live six minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and a mile from the open bay. I have the same access to both of these as the people near by that have paid millions for the same access. The difference is that I am willing to give to get. Remember those words that are often spoken. "Sometimes less is more?"
Anyone can build their lives like a paradise if you are willing to give a little bit and if you are under the gun with your high payments and bills that you work everyday to pay and still can not get your head above water, I would recommend my idea.
It has worked for my wife and I and it can work for you as well if you want it to. We have never been happier in the 30 years of marriage. Why not enjoy your life living it simple and still being happy and just maybe happier than ever. It is very possible for all to achieve.
Don't get me wrong, I am not downing those with money and having all the fine things in life, it's just that I am not that fortunate too have money or the fine thing in life, so I came up with my own plan to live the world of paradise without spending a fortune.
