What would we do without the wonderful magic of the caller id?!  I don't think anyone of us would hardly ever answer the phone, huh?!  So, for whatever reason you want to make that mystery call to...  whoever:  An ex-, someone you can't stand, or a friend you wish to prank.

Whatever your reasons, becareful not to abuse that so as to end up getting caught.  I've read of software on the web that can counter-defend against a blocked phone number.

If you're making the blocked call from your landline, there may be a charge depending on your telephone company.  Otherwise, all cellphone carriers allow the call to be blocked at no charge.

So, here's how you do it...  Yes, it took me a bit to get to the center of the Tootsie pop.

Dial *67+555-5555 if it's a local number.  Otherwise, for long distance dial *67+1+(555)-555-5555.  Presto.
