My Daughter’s Creation – A Simple but Elegant Desert
While returning from the library today my daughter and I made a side trip necessitated by the lack of suitable drinking water coming from the tap at our home. We stopped at the store to buy drinking water. Since we stopped to buy water, it only seemed natural that we should also buy some brochelli, cauaflower, strawberries, yogurt fruit dip, waffle bowls, and two half gallons of ice cream.
When the time came for dessert, my daughter came up with the idea of lining the waffle bowls with the yogurt fruit dip and a few strawberries before adding a scoop of ice cream. She wanted vanilla and I tried the chocolate marshmallow. This simple but elegant desert was then topped with another spoonful of the yogurt fruit dip and another strawberry. This was one of the most wonderful creations I have ever tasted.
I am a self proclaimed ice cream junkie who will loose sight of reality if I do not receive my daily ice cream fix. Having lived with this condition for at least 20 years, I have developed almost a connoisseur taste for ice cream flavors. My favorite flavors are as follows:
