John Lennon

John Lennon and Elton John : Two English Music Icons

For me John Lennon is an icon topnotch not only to the English people but throughout the whole world. He didn't live to see that after three, four, five decades and beyond, after he first sang a song, his songs are still popular and is saleable. He is still alive in the memory of his followers. I like John Lennon because of his song "Imagine" which should be our theme song for peace and that song should be the theme song around the world. He also sang a lot of beautiful songs with or without the Beatles. I love the fact that he loves a woman -- Yoko Ono and he shows it in his actions, songs and writings. He loves her and he is the best example of a true man in that sense -- an English gentleman, a singer, writer, rock musician, author and an activist -- world class.

  • He formed one of the best rock in the world of music -- The Beatles -- formed one of the most influential and successful songwriter partnerships of the 20th century
