That is the question which hundreds of people struggling to make an income on the internet have. Over two years back when i saw the advertisements of some internet marketers making fortunes online i was attracted too. But nothing much happened then as i imagined. I made a few odd dollars here and there and reached payout and received some payments from a couple of Sites. My daily adsense earnings then were only pennies to begin with and took me ages to reach the pay out limit of $100 with adsense. Despite of the efforts put online the earnings where not worth the effort. I was only wasting my time and money. It took me some time to realize that adsense is a number game and to make a fortune one needs to have loads of content. Like most newbie’s I too thought that all I need is buy a domain and write a blog to be rich.
Majority of my earnings online went on purchasing the junks offered by Online Gurus some of which were easily available on the net for free. Most of the stuff accumulated by me did no significant improvement to my online earnings. However I also made some good choices. I also had wanted to buy stuff like home based business, surveys and ad posting sites but found it too costly. I am now happy that I did not spend money on them because some of them proved to be scam sites. There are too many quick rich schemes available in the internet and most of them are priced very high and if at all someone is making money it would be the site owner himself mostly. When someone tells you about all the money they are making on the net they mostly leave out the part about all the struggles, time and hard work they had to put in to get to where they are now. No matter what you do one need to put in time and efforts to make it a success. I wish I had someone to guide me when I started out because it took me some time to understand what needs to be done to profit from the internet.
With lots of people losing jobs and facing recession many want to make a living by working from home and building an on-line business. But most of them are looking for fast income and don't have much patience to start with. They want money without having to work for it. They fall for quick rich scams and give up once they find their efforts are not yielding much result. But the truth is that it is not difficult to make an online income even without adwords with the right product, strategy and campaign for marketing your programs.

Good info, I agree with you, most people that are saying "generated 100's of leads or generated so much cash, have done so over a very long time. There are so many ways to waste your time online is it scarry. One need only apply themselves with their current MLM, not say they are, but actually apply themselves and that WILL pay off. If a person put in just 2 hours a pay, talking with potential partners and following up, just two hours a day, at the end of a year you should be making a lot of money, if not a 5/6 figure income.

A very well written article. Your experience is exactly what I am going through now hence reading such article is a greate help. I too have a blog on environment and health and have also started writing on hub but I can't be very active and can't expand to more then existing blog and hub as I do article writing only when I am free from my job. I know it may take some time to start earning significantly but after reading this hub it gives me some confidence that least I am not on the wrong track. Thanks for the article

That's may be too much I mean $100 a day. Please give me a break and lower it down to $25 a month and this is only for the hubs with thousands of hits. Majority of hubbers are not even making a single cent including me. You can ask Lgali & she will tell you the same story.
Good read - it at least gives some insite into what people should avoid and work with. I would also advise that this kind of thing takes time and dedication as with any other endeavor.

Mr Nice, If you would have bothered to read the article you would have known that i am not talking about income from HubPages though I make a considerable income here. Majority of my income comes from else where which i have described in the Hub.

Hopefully everyone realizes that it does take some work to get to that point. You cannot just throw up a webpage and start making that kind of money.
The key is to find a good niche and be one of the first ones in it. This will get you on the ground level of hopefully will be a big money maker for you.

Hai, When I was reading your story, I felt as if it was my story. Infact I too was roaming around the net for money since 10 months, never made anything. Few bucks were made from mylot and some ptc sites but never reached the minimum amount to claim.
But finally you have ended up promoting baggabucks. I doubt your claim (This is what I have learned through my experience), but I will give it a try.

Thanks. But there are several who make decent earnings from adsense. But adsense i like saving for your pension. Once you have some reasonable amount of content you would see that you would earn without putting much efforts. Just don't give up now.One day your efforts will be rewarded and you would thank yourself for not giving up.
