Porn Braille

It may sound like Porn Braille is someones idea of an April Fool joke. But no, this is for real. A Canadian woman has spent two years putting together what must be a unique publication in the form of a magazine which she has named 'Tactile Minds'. The magazine is much like the real thing with text based stories. The big difference here is that the raised pictures are touch and feel, an element missing from the conventional porn magazine. Each image within the book took a minimum of fifty hours to produce. 'Playboy' previously had a braille edition though it lacked the pictures.

One would presume that no offence would be caused to the average magazine shop browser and so it would not be necessary to confine the publication to the top shelf. The Porn Braille mag does not come cheap however and at £150 it will no doubt be sealed in plastic.

Those who have had contact with the magazine so far have approved. One partially sighted man is said to have said "It is what blind people have been waiting their entire lives for."

Each of the magazines is numbered and signed by the author. This has already elevated the publication from porn to 'art' status. This moves it into the realms of erotica and makes purchase more acceptable.
