Beautiful lava reefs sculptured with caverns, tunnels, and overhangs provide many hiding areas for fishes and sea creatures, including schools of snappers and grunts. In the active breeding grounds of the inner and outer reefs, divers of all experience levels can mingle with an impressive array of tropical fish, such as French angels, jacks, bluehead wrasse, butterfly fish, sergeant majors, along with sea horses, arrow crabs, coral shrimp, octopuses and batfish.
