Smoking is about careless living. You know very well that smoking is hazardous to health and that smokers damage their own lungs and heart, yet if you are careless about it, it is as good as driving on a highway not caring the traffic signs. Your careless living will not only affect you, but also your friends and family members who become passive smokers because of you.

Did you know that your careless lifestyle could cause irreparable damage to your innocent child? When someone visits a gynaecologist for sterility, the first question asked is - Do you smoke? It directly affects on your reproductive health. Secondly, your smoking (either parent) will directly impact the child in the womb. Why should your innocent child suffer for your fault?

What You Gain? What You Lose?

A friend of mine once calculated the amount of money he had spent in smoking so far, and he was alarmed by the fact that if he had saved that amount down that decade, he could buy a decent car (perhaps, money was not the cause why he quit smoking). If you can list what all you have lost or are liable to lose because of smoking against what you have gained, you will get a clear picture of where it is leading you towards.  Wise people think twice.  If not today, some day keep this in mind and consider - your life would be better off.

Ask God to Forgive You

A man lost his wife and daughter due to cancer. He admitted that he was a chain smoker and he used to enjoy puffing the smoke on his wife's face very often - may be, she too started to enjoy his habit. He said that later in life, he quit smoking and never realised that what he had sown into the lungs of his wife would one day sprout into cancer, bereaving him off his loving wife and daughter.

Friend, the Lord Jesus Christ is a healer who can set right anything in your life.  Commit your life to Him and repent of your careless lifestyle.  He will bless and prosper your life.
