The poem that is about to follow is not intended to be taken literally. It is something that I had written in a time that I had no choice but to let go of something/someone who I cared about a great deal. I had to let go, because he was taking me down with him.

I learned a valuable life lesson in those moments. I learned that if you love something/someone, you really do have to set them free...

We all have a choice. Freewill is our right. However, it very often turns out to be our downfall as well.

We all must learn our lessons. Sometimes, we feel that we must assist someone in learning theirs. However, very often, they are not ready to learn when we are ready to teach. This is a time when we must back up and allow them the space and consequences they need to master their own life. Sometimes what they need is for us to walk away...

The Light upon the Earth comes from the Fallen Angels,
As they make their decent from the Heavens;
Sent exclusively to do their challenging jobs,
To better the pathetic lives left on Earth.

Their jobs are very taxing,
For,
On a Mission from the gods,
There is no relaxing.

Little soldiers,
Survivors once from this Wasteland;
Here once again to clean up this place,
Or walk away and let your sorry asses get kicked to Japan...

Trying to save us from the tidalwaves in our Path,
The job is sometimes very frustrating and can be quite draining;
Tormented Souls who want their lives to be better but fight every prospect on that Path,
They unmercifully take us down with them even though we know that's not their plan.

Eventually, the time comes when your angel says,
You can suit yourself;
I can turn and walk away,
And leave you here to burn in this Hell forever...

This place isn't getting any better.

This Earth land really does suck,
Human beings just want to fight...
Put Love in their Hearts???
Where are the Hearts you were talking about???

I can't find even one,
Not one with even a Glimmer of Hope;
Okay, Dammit,
I see where this is going,
Here you telling me to just Do it!!!

My entire purpose for writing this Hub is to invite you into my world, to witness the many things that are part of our reality and to help those who read my words realize that they are not alone and to listen to their own inner voice. The messages that come from our higher selves are nothing to lie in the wayside. These voices speak our wishes from our Soul, and tell us exactly what we need to do to get where we are destined to be.

Enjoy your journey through this thing called life. Don't just lie down and let the darkness envelope you. Come out swinging and screaming and push the envelope...Your life is yours. It's your right and responsibility to live it to the best of your ability.
