Hot Decorating Idea-Vinyl Wall Appliques or Wall Decals

One of the hottest interior decorating items is vinyl wall appliques or vinyl wall decals. You can create incredible designer looks for a fraction of the cost of painting.

I was a little skeptical when I first saw these thinking they probably wouldn't work too well. I pictured them having the tackiness of a window cling or a Post-it note and assumed they probably wouldn't stay up on the wall. I was wrong.

Vinyl wall decals are an excellent alternative to painting and they allow you to create stunning looks in your home in minutes and for a fraction of the cost of other home decorating alternatives.  They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors.  You can get tiny ones on up to full mural size. There is something for every budget that I know you'll enjoy.

My daughter has plans to be an interior decorator. With this in mind, you can imagine how she loves redecorating her room.

Recently, while redecorating her room for the second time in the last couple of years she opted to purchase a white chandelier applique for her wall. The wall behind her bed is painted glossy black. The walls to the left and are a hot pink. The wall opposite the bed is white with black stenciled scrolled designs. Just for the record, the stenciling process was very time-consuming.
