My hub could cause much controversy yet I feel it is important to share the truth.This did not come out of a cracker box, or from a scientific experiment. This is from the Living Bible.The oldest text ever written.The only text that has been proven, because the majority of the content written thousands of years ago has come to pass. It was written for mankind..For over 2000 years millions of groups have tried to prove the non existence of God as illusionary,false or simply untrue.Some believe he was a teacher or profit. Yes he was all that but he was the liiving Messiah.
God sent his only begotten son for a purpose. He not only showed of miracles, wonders and signs of the true living God, he died a brutal, horrific death so we could be spared hell. He took our sin on so we could spend eternity in heaven. No one or anything has proved another scenario to be correct. The Bible is very clear on where you go wen you die. Heaven or Hell. Buddha, Mother Mary, or Saint Teresa do not get you to heaven.Your belief in Jesus, the son of God gets you into heaven.Read Romans verse 10 lines 9 and 10 or John verse 3 line 16. If you believe in your heart Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead, confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and Savior and repent of your sins you will be saved. You will go to Heaven.immediately, when you die. God so loved us he sent his only son to take on the sin of the world so we could have life eternal with him. It is a choice, We do have free will. The Light always puts out Dark.The dark (devil, Satan, evil ) would love to take you down with him in this fallen world. With God nothing is impossible, he waits at the door, knock and it will be opened. No matter how far dpwn the scale you have gone he loves and cares for you and desires the lost to come to him. He goes after his lost sheep. .
There are good people that do not believe and there are evil people that obviously do not believe.They will not make heaven. I did not write this. God used the apostles Paul, John, Moses, King David, and many others to write this down for us in his very words so we would know the truth. He told us to share the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
As a believer I share the good news. It is awesome to know when I die I have a mansion prepared for me in Heaven. One day Jesus will return. Look around there are plenty of signs and prophecies that have come to pass You and I were born for a purpose.You can choose to live in the light or be in the dark .In the end the Devil (Satan and his followers will be thrown into the lake of fire 4 ever. Where would you rather be? Do not be fooled by evil doer's or others in the dark about God.The Holy Bible, 2009 years old is the ONLY living proof of the one true God. It is going to get worse in the world before the return of Jesus, many will be saved .Many will deny Christ was or is. Sad but true. Read scripture if yo do not believe me. We do not get to heaven by good works. Everyone sins and has faults, no one would make it into the pearly gates. Believers will be lifted out of in the blink of an eye (read revelation) In the clouds with Jesus.There will be no tears or sadness in heaven. We will not struggle or suffer. I will already be in heaven or lifted out of here with all the believers. It is so incredible to know my time is not long on this planet. I am honored to do the work of the Lord and tell others of salvation. I may get frowned upon, or rocks thrown at me but mark the Word.(Gods Word) If you deny Jesus you deny God and he will deny you. God wants you to be saved (born again) and you will have many opportunities to ask him into your heart before you pass on. Do not be left behind. It will not be pretty at all after Jesus comes and lifts the believers from the earth. 'In the twinkling of the eye we will be lifted up' Luke. The Enemy-Satan will reign for a time. but in the end he looses.The light always puts out the dark.
The truth will set you free. You will have a wonderful hope and future. Life is not always easy but Jesus will walk with you. You will have a peace you have not known. The empty hole inside will be filled with the love of Christ. (1 Corinthians)

So what will become of the earth?and satan?and i have read there will also be a 'new earth' as well as a new heaven,so who will live on this?i have also read that the 'dead are conscious of nothing' which is contradictory to the thinking that we ascend to heaven when we die,the bible is open to so many interpretations which is why there are so many different religions believing essentially in the same thing,but if i were to believe in anything as gods word,especially something as fundamental as what will happen in the afterlife, i would need it to be written very clearly in the bible.but i cant find a scripture in the bible which says we go to heaven when we die. that doesnt mean i cannot have hope,i can look forward to 'a new earth' which the bible is explicit about. Post back x

Dear sha, I believe the words in the Bible. Not mans words but Gods Word. Yes he will bring the new heaven with his church (saints) believers to Jerusalem the land of his chosen. Prior to that time we will ascend into heaven to be with him. There are many mansions in heaven. Luke 23:43 gives reference to Paradise and heaven. The devil has dominion over the earth. He was kicked out of heaven. He is trying to bring anyone down that he can. He knows his time is coming. He comes to steal kill destroy and lie. Thankyou for your reply.I believe that Jesus reference to paradise means just that,a paradise on earth as I have read no scripture that suggests man goes to heaven as soon as he dies.It seems more logical otherwise the earth is just a testing ground for mankind and I dont feel a loving god would want to test us in that way and God wanted our earth to be a paradise when he created us originally.

There are 21 scriptures that refer to heaven, 7 scriptures that refer to heavenly places, 16 scriptures that speak of heavens, 3 scriptures that speak of paradise. First, one must be saved(born again) invite Christ into heart as Lord and savior, and repent of sins. Christ told the thief on his right when he was nailed to the cross 'today you will be with me in paradise'. I believe Paradise to be one of the many mansions Christ prepares for us in the heavenly places. We will go up not down. Please link to JudahsDaughter on hubpages. You know what, HOO? I think that we are immediately with the Lord after we die in spirit. The reason our bodies are said to be "asleep" is because our bodies are not through, because they will be resurrected at the appointed time. My hub Life after Death: What the Bible says, and "About Heaven and Who Dwells There" give scriptural reference to this.

I agree with all you said, so I might add...all go to one place at death...the grave, but not all come out the grave at the Lords coming....But because God is eternal he has set time in place for living and then death. When we die it would be as if we didn't even die and the resurrection is taking place immediately.
Death is the end of time eternity is next. We are covered by Jesus blood so that this cloak is our garment to enter into the Kingdom.
The Kingdom of God is the Eternal Realm, the Throne of God , the Third heaven, the earth exists as the footstool of God below the Throne.

einron, it is clear there are saints returning with Christ to fight the battle of Armageddon, which will not only end all wars, but will then begin the thousand-year reign of Christ. If there is no heaven outside of earth where the saints are in the presence of the Lamb, this would not be possible. (Revelation 19:7-16).

No one is going to heaven. The Father is coming down out of heaven with a new heaven (sky) and a new earth.
The Lord Jesus Christ will rule this earth for a thousand years before The Father brings the new earth down OUT OF HEAVEN to make His home with men and wipe away all their tears.
Rev 21:1-2 (KJV) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Christians going to heaven is a mainstream Christian myth - pure fabrication.
