Worlds Best Cookies
81Guaranteed The Worlds Best Cookies
I tell you what I hear all the time as a chef try this recipe its the worlds best. Most of those world best recipes we try end up okay but I wouldn't call them the worlds best. These cookies however are truly the worlds best cookies. Once you make them you'll be making them over and over. You may even find yourself as I did making these cookies at 4 AM as I was because I ate the last one at 3 AM and just simply couldn't wait until the next day. For your cookies you will be needing.
Worlds Best Cookie Recipe
1. Two Cups of Margarine
2. One Cup Light Brown Sugar
3. One Cup White Sugar
4. Two Large Eggs
5. One Teaspoon Real Vanilla Flavoring
6. 1 1/2 Cups Plain Flour
7. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
8. 1 Teaspoon Salt
9. 3 Cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal
10. 2 Cups Mini Chocolate Chips
You will also need a mixing bowl, a wooden spoon, and a cookie sheet.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
You want to mix your margarine and sugars together well. Have your margarine at room temperature. Take your wooden spoon and beat your sugars and margarine together very well.
Now you want to mix in your 2 large eggs and your vanilla flavoring and mix together well with your wooden spoon being sure to beat your mixture together very well. Be sure to use real vanilla flavoring not imitation. It makes all the difference in the world with the taste.
Now you will want to add in your plain flour, baking soda and salt. Again take the time to mix together very well.
Now stir in your mini chocolate chips. Here we used milk chocolate mini chocolate chips but you can try various flavors of chocolate. Even mix differnt flavored chocolate chips together for your own unique flavors. Its real important that your oven be preheated before you bake your cookies.
Drop your cookie dough by the heaping spoonfull onto your cookie sheet being sure to leave room for your cookies to expand. Be sure to take your cookies out of the oven before they really look done. This will take about 10-12 minutes in a pre heated 350 degree oven. When I say before they get done you want to learn to judge this for yourself but you want to take them out just before they look done and transfer them to plates to cool.
Take Them Out Of The Oven When They Look Like This
Be sure to take them out of the oven when they look like the above photo.
Kick Your Cookies Up A Notch Or Two If You Dare!
These cookies are great just like the above photo of them. But if you want you can kick these cookies up a notch or two and really have the best cookies you will ever eat.
You can do any of the below steps or a combination of the below steps.
1. As soon as you take the cookies from the oven sprinkle them with a generous sprinkling of light brown sugar. Allow the cookies to set on the cookie sheet for 3-5 minutes before you transfer them to plates to cool.
2. As soon as they come from the oven add three more chocolate chips to each cookie and let them set on the cookie sheet for 3-5 minutes before transfering them to plates to cool.
3. Add three to five raisins to each cookie as soon as they come from the oven and let them set on the cookie sheet for 3-5 minutes before transfering them to plates to cool.
