All Things beautiful

This is a new thing for me. You type a search on any search engine & voila! there you are. lots of money making opportunities ;) that too instantly! I wonder how people believe such weak promises.

The world is not just money in itself. Take a look around & you witness smoke & traffic, noise & fights. But among them, you might spot a tiny red flower growing on an equally small plant by the road & you wonder how it manages to survive in such chaos & impurity.

Small things like that symbolize the true joys of life. Be it a flower among thorns, or reaching a smooth road after a bumpy ride, or simply catching the happiness of a person you hardly know, among our individual chaotic lives.

The other day, I went for a walk in the nearby park. There I saw a couple sitting in the grass with their 4 year old son, they seemed to be out on a picnic. I thought to myself, 'how can they chose a horribly crowded place for a picnic, they'll probably litter around the whole park.' As I approached their side, I saw they had a take away box of the local fastfood inn. They were helping the child eat the chicken, the mother breaking off the chicken pieces for him while the father tackled the greasy fries. The kid was as happy as he could be. I felt my cheeks burn as I recalled my previous thoughts. I realized how much parents go through just for the sake of their childrens' happiness. In this case the parents probably couldn't afford a high class restaurant or an elaborate picnic. They had bought a single serving of fried chicken for their kid, taking pleasure in feeding him and feeling his happiness to be their own.

I've seen people whose lives are centered around making as much money as possible. Little do they realize that they are the ones who are actually deprived of the little joys of life. When they find out, its already too late to manage whatever they have lost.

I guess that is the answer to life's predicatments. You urself become the light that brightens the lives of other people. It is truly one of the beautiful things in life :)
