GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT is JESUS' HOLY SPIRIT
THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD
The Almighty Lord God of heaven and earth is a Spiritual Being and Father of all spirits. He manifests Himself as the Holy Spirit which is His power to perform miracles on earth and Jesus Christ, His Son who was born of the Holy Spirit on earth to redeem us from sins thus bringing mankind back to the grace of God.
Adam and Eve sinned against the Lord God and were banished from the garden of Eden and "a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the tree of life" (Gen 3:24).
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" (Rom 5:12).
God wanted to change the situation where man was disengaged from God and He decided to put His Holy Spirit into man's heart so that he might change to a new man capable of loving and obeying the Lord God.
"And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them" (Eze 36:27).
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONE TRUE GOD
The Holy Spirit is God's wonderful manifestation of His tremendous power to create, protect, judge, guiide, change, and foresee the beginning and ending of all matters under the sun.
God had promised to give His chosen people a new heart, a heart of flesh which He would put into their hearts and be with them always. The Holy Spirit will teach and guide them into the way of righteousness, avoiding evil and strengthening their spirituality. The force of the Holy Spirit is so strong because it is the Spirit of God that will fight on our behalf in our battles against the evil one.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them (Eze 36:26-27).
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (Jn 4:24).
- And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all (1 Cor.12:6; Php 2:13).
- And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us (1 Jn 3:24).
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS JESUS CHRIST
"And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father" (Gal 4:6).
- Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Cor 3:17).
- Paul and Silas were forbidden to preach "the word in Asia (6). After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not (Acts 16:7).
- Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot (Ac 8:29).
- But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his (Rom 8:9).
The Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus Christ are the same. The Holy Spirit is God, and is also Jesus Christ. There is no distinction between them for they are the same Spirit. Praise the Lord.
