Manifested That Wonderful Bus Ride
Bus Terminal Surrounded By One Way Streets
Smile! It's Contagious
Part 2 The Wonderful Bus Ride Manifests Fully
Hello There, VivBounty here to share with you part 2 of my wonderful bus ride from the airport to a bus station near my mum's to spend a wonderful week with my family celebrating my sister's graduation from college.
I had reached the connection point for my second bus and called my mum to give her my estimated arrival time. In the terminal seating area I could see my bus through the glass door. The bus driver appeared outside on the tarmac, coffee in hand, opened the door to the bus, got seated and closed the door ready to pull off looking quite frazzled. I jumped up, waving profusely to get her attention. She let me on explaining that this was the previous bus running late. I smiled, thanked her climbing aboard to settle in the front seat with all my luggage and we were on our way, chatting away happily. Joyful, smiling to myself at my "luck" encountering another friendly driver just as I had intended.
Conversation Turned To Spirituality and Self Help
This leg of the journey confirmed to me why the universe had conspired to put me on this bus on this day. This lady bus driver and I were destined to enjoy a conversation about life and spirituality which refreshed us both. I always say that I know that this is exactly where I am supposed to be and this was no exception.
She shared with me that she's reading Elizabeth Gilbert's book, Eat Pray Love, and that she had read a lot of self-help and spiritual books in recent years but this one makes the most sense to her. I had been meaning to buy the book and then the movie came out. She advised me not to see the movie before reading the book as she knew folks who had not read the book first that just didn't "get" parts of the movie. I said that I firmly believed that when you are ready the information you seek comes to you in a language that you understand. Which is just another way of paraphrasing the Buddhist maxim, "When the student is ready, the master will appear". My bus driver agreed wholeheartedly with this and my next thought that ultimatley each person has their very own brand of spirituality.
Travel The World. It's A Great Education
Other Passengers Were Inspired By Our Chat
We went on to discuss her upcoming trip to Ireland with a friend. Something she had never done and always wanted to do and how much she was looking forward to it. We chatted about my work in the travel industry and that I think college and university is all good but every young person should travel for a year. There is a whole big world out there with a wonderful myriad of cultures and people which when you come down to it, are more alike than we are different.
I attended a lecture with Deepak Chopra once in which he said "If you spend all your life learning from books and never interact with another soul, you will have learned nothing."
At the next bus stop a very well dressed gentleman paused on the steps to the door, mp3 player earphones unplugged from his ears, looking at the driver and then at me he said "Ladies may I say thank you for letting me be a fly on the wall, listening in to your most inspiring conversation. You have made my day. In a world where there is all sorts of predjudice, religious, racial and so much more, it is refreshing to hear a truly inspiring unbiased point of view". He thanked us again and disembarked.

How Time Flies When You Seek And Manifest Joy
When my stop came, this lovely lady and I said farewell, agreeing on how sorry we were that our uplifiting, immensely enjoyable conversation had to end so soon. She added that it had indeed been a pleasure to have me on her bus that day and thanked me for our chat.
It was certainly a beautiful summer day and although my mum got lost again in the city of Oshawa with all its one-way streets, I was quite happy to wait outside the bus station and the warm sunshine, grateful for all the wonderful souls the universe had conspired to grace my path with. Ironically, this bus route is usually known for having trouble with the crime element of the city but this day we saw none of it. We must have been at the right vibration to manifest peace and unity and to draw it with joy. Time sure flies when you're having fun.
Until next time, be kinder than necessary, as everyone is fighting some kind of battle.
Prosperous Blessings,
