You can make money with Redbubble
Who are Redbubble?
So who are they and can you make money with Redbubble? The answer is yes but lets look into who Redbubble are and what they do!
Redbubble is a large community of supportive and friendly artists. What I love about this site is that they are truly focused on building a fun, safe and encouraging community and best of all they are also artists themselves. They have built a marketplace for artists and buyers alike, when you visit their home page you can jump straight in to browsing for prints or tshirts.
Their motto: Living art: Share it, Wear it, Hang it
OK so how do I make money
Well being an artist all you have to do is create and upload your work and Redbubble will look after the printing and shipping for you. They offer prints, cards, calendars, canvases and even t-shirts and stickers. Another new product that they also have are iphone cases which look very stylish. But like anything, you have to be able to get traffic/buyers to your page for this to work otherwise you will be hard to find with the thousands of other artists trying to also sell their work. To get some people watching you and giving feedback on your work it's good to find and watch other artist and give some constructive and nice comments about their work. You will find slowly you will start finding some like minded friends and really be a part of the Redbubble community.
A great thing about Redbubble is that it's completely free to join, they have never asked for a subscription fee and they do not place any ads on their site so for those who want to use Redbubble as a portfolio can.
Have you sold anything?
Yes I have sold a few calendars, a few greeting cards, some stickers and a tshirt so far so to me it says that a lot of buys frequently browse and buy from Redbubble. I have also purchased a calendar to look at he quality of the work and I can say that it's fantastic, I have been very pleased with this site.
Below you will find some links so you can see how the site looks and feels.
Do they pay you your commission?
Yes they do. I have already been paid 3 times. They do their payments automatically as well so you do not have to request payout. For me being in Australia I am able to have funds placed directly into my bank account when I reach the minimum of $20. So being paid 3 times I have made over $60 so far. It may seem a small amount but to me getting my photos sold and out there for peoples viewing pleasure is the most rewarding part of making sales :)
Thank you for reading and happy bubbling :)
