Christmas Decorating Delayed

Can you please bring up the Christmas decorations ?

Not today but real soon

Busy at work

The last two days taking care of the yard

Three days later my wife asks again

O.k but we can't put them up yet

I don't have time and I want to help

I like Christmas too

My mother loved her decorations and tree

I will always cherish those memories

My wife reminds me

You have to clean out the living room to make room

I have a few boxes of things I have not found a place for

They were in the office until I cleaned that room

Now what ?

I throw Christmas songs on to keep her in the mood

I really don't want to give the things away

But no place for them

It is a combination of books and things I have printed out on the computer

Then there are odds and ends

We are both off today

We sent out Christmas cards

That is always a lot of fun

My wife makes them all out

I sign and seal them

That made her happy in the morning

The day flew bye

We ate a late dinner

Relaxing and watching a little t.v.

Now it's 8:45 and it's getting late

Between little projects I have started and now I am trying to finish

A book I am enjoying

Reading and writing will just have to be put on hold

I figure if I move a few things downstairs

I can put the boxes there for now

That will buy me some time

I will talk later and see if I can make it happen
