Emulate Through the Looking Glass
Mirror, mirror on the wall look
Into my soul and answer me this question
Who am I?
How many times have I stood before you?
Inquiring of you in desperation
You always reply with the equivalent answer
A woman with a good heart that’s
Been broken but will heal
To one day, walk out of your private
Hell to love again to believe in
Fairy tales
Is my future going to be one of good fortune?
You gaze back at me, into my eyes and utter
Your future is what you make of it
Success or failure is your decision
Ask me another question
Will I find love and a man who will
Treat me like his queen
To this you speak
You have to treat yourself like a queen
Moreover, be the queen of which you speak
Never be a subject walk
With your head held high
Dignity and pride in who you are
Wear as a suit of armor
Will it keep from pain mirror mirror?
On the wall
I have told you and still you ask
A lot you must learn if you
Are to have love
Self-confidence is one
Believe in yourself is two
And three damn the world
Before it damns you
Mirror, mirror don’t go away
I still have questions and
Need answers right away
Look within yourself into your own heart
Search deeply search with truth
All your answers you will find
Looking in the mirror into your
Own eyes
