Heaven and Hell In Collusion
Heaven and Hell in Collusion
She dropped the roses,
looked around the room
as the dead rested in peaceful poses,
her eyes traced the words in the Bible,
and she continued to read,
her hands covered in blood
as she continued to bleed,
the wounds were fresh,
as a chill raked her flesh,
humanity would hide,
as Mother Mary cried,
the Cross hung in a huge space,
Jesus’s head tiled to one side,
an odd vibration was felt all over the place,
and a sadness she saw in his face,
angels were whispering in her ear,
telling her not to worry,
there was nothing to fear,
but the Devil entered like an illusion,
Heaven and Hell in collusion,
then the church spirits scowled at the demonic intrusion,
God’s son’s survival had failed,
his resurrection, trailed,
and the corpse,
on a Cross, nailed.
