Aloha!

There once was a woman from Missoula

Who claimed she could do a wicked hula,

She said that's how she met

The man who is her pet,

From Yale where grads all sing "Boola Boola."

Truly great.

There once was a fellow from Butte

Who thought girls and limericks were cute

But better than all

Come spring or come fall

His wife was born utterly mute

==============================

Dang, these things are infectious!

Voted Up, Etc.

Ghost32: Is yours an original (in the Comment above)? Good Limerick, sad mute, though a mute for a trumpet just cuts down and softens the sound.

These always make me smile. Keep them coming.

Hi, Debby--yes they are (fun to write).

Perspycacious: Yes, it's an original, penned (okay, typed) on the spot just for the Comment. An easy one for me, since I originally hail from that area (between Missoula and Butte).

Ghost32 - It seems it would be a natural for you to write a limerick about Miss Butte for the next Buttey Contest there?
