Limericks: A First Try

This is my first try at creating some fun limericks. Please tell me what you think.

Fashion Show

There once was a girl named Gabby-

Who realized her wardrobe was quite shabby-

She bought a new look-

That was flashed in a book-

Now she can’t stop men from being grabby.

Underdog

There once was a skinny named Tim-

Who thought he could get bigger at a gym-

He lifted weights like a champ-

But got no larger than an ant-

Still a gold medal he would win.

Fits To A Tee

There once was a man named Randolph-

Who found out he was good at pro golf-

With a swing of the club-

He knew he was in love-

Until the day he is nineteen pars off.

This Whacky Author

There once was a writer named Carrie-

Who wanted to lick a limerick like a strawberry-

But without a four leaf clover-

She knew her appetite was over-

Once this poem got too scary.

He Shall Rise

There once was a boy named Lance-

Who wasn’t able to walk or dance-

Until the day he met Pam-

Now he can stand-

Hence a miracle; a second chance.

Transplant

There once was a goof named Bart-

Who really thought he was good at art-

But when he splashed the paint-

He made an old nurse faint-

At least he’ll get a new heart.

In Good Company

There once was a guy named Zar-

Who couldn’t stay out of the bar-

Pretty women would wink-

And he’d buy them a drink-

Hoping it would go too far.

Make Believe

There once was a man named Drake-

Who was crafty with his neighbor’s new rake-

He broke it in two-

But just between me and you-

The leaves in the yard were all fake.

Clog

There once was a plumber named Buck-

Who crawled in a pipe and got stuck-

Even though people passed him by-

They could not hear him cry-

So he remained sh*t out of luck.
