Obedience
Obedience the act of carrying out commands...
I always remember those days as a kid while growing up,my parents especially Dad sets his commands which sometimes seems hard for me to keep but the fact is that there is always a prize for any command broken.
The same way Dad sets his command is the same way God set his own command for both me and Dad and whoever breaks God's command always have a prize to pay too.
"It is much safer to obey, than to govern."
Without obedience, the world would be in its worst state that is why as i have grown and understand how important Dad's commands were then and how keeping them really helped me to be where i am today. i chose to accept all my life that obedience is one vital key to success because he who keeps the law is law abiding and will never get into trouble but whoever breaks the law is not disciplined and will always run into troubles.
A child who keeps his father's commands always find favor in his eyes but the one that breaks it,ends up receiving strokes therefore as kids are bond to keep commands set by parents, parents are also bond to keep the commands set by God and nature because a parent that sets bad example for the children will not blame me should the children fail to be law abiding.
One might think that when the government stipulates that every adult need to pay certain tax that it is bad or not worthy but honestly, it is the will of God that as humans we respect and honor the laws of the land because God himself left us a commandment...
The word “commandment” might make you think of the Ten Commandments—a list of “Thou Shalt Nots”— God does not only tell us what we should not do, but He also tells us what we should do.
Romans 13:1-7
This is not a good example...
Untidy home is not a good example for kids and this is where parents fail to set good example for kids. therefore, the inability of our parents to set good examples and to implant the basic home domestic duties in us leaves most us trapped in a confused state of mind.
"That is why so many mothers today are nothing but child makers who has no connection with home groomers."
When a mother fail to set a good example for the daughter, the daughter will grow into a confused girl who has no basic home training and this will always lead to misunderstanding with the husband if she ever happen to be lucky to have one.
Couples who quarrel all the time
And kids who grow with this example
And there are those who guide the law
We often blame children for turning out into bad influences but frankly speaking, most of the troubles we face in the world today could have been avoided, had it been that our fathers did what they were suppose to do as fathers and mothers as mothers.
"Priests as Priests and leaders as leaders."
Everyone failed the kids that is why Tutsi keep killing Tutsi, Igbos keep killing Igbos...
Nigerians keep killing Nigerians
New Yorkers keep killing New Yorkers
Trinidadians keep killing Trinidadians
Iraqis keep killing Iraqis
Christians keep killing Christians
Muslims keep killing Muslims
When we fail to keep the law of the land, to obey the commands set by our Parents and Leaders,we become disobedient to the law of the land and this leads to breaking the commandment set by God for mankind...LOVE.
When Jesus was in this world and his disciples asked him “Which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus replied,
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
If we love God and keep his commands,we will end up loving one another and will never disobey any law neither those set by man nor those set by God for us and there will be no more tribalism, racism, jealousy, hatred, killing and wars.
There will simply be OBEDIENCE in the world.
"I have wondered about this a long time, and the more I wonder and imagine, the more certain I am that obedience is the gateway through which knowledge, yes! and love, too, enter the mind of the child."
