The Whales and the Boat
The ice is thickening...storms surging above and below the ice it caps...what a great living environment...whales calling,
Utmost respect for the seals to play their hide and go seek...I found you...you found me...play again,
The various microorganisms...evolutionary leaps and bounds over the squid that follow,
Giant squid...suction cup battles with two foot prey...Colossal Squid with claws like a tiger...hundreds,
Whales play joyfully in the icy waters...water spurting from their blowholes like Niagara falls.
Those white caps are dying down...the winds have calmed...and the sounds of engines come creeping in,
Speed up...slow down...nets out...got one...maybe two...three today...research research,
Oh fishing crews...the unmoral Deviance you display over these sea creatures...they are alive just like you,
Ten whales down...three days later...big catch but they have five weeks to go.
Another engine sounds in the distance...The Robert Hunter...gaining speed...culminating experiments,
Slowing vessels as he rides...bullhorns and stink bombs raise from the breeze all around,
The actions to become bizarre...no other way around but to crash into the fishing vessel,
Told to stop...maybe run...the ropes entangled in research vessel propellers...oh the insanity.
Another ship approaches...not a fishing vessel but a pirate...they say its a pirate,
The Robert hunter said of course...environmental defender pirates...stop your ship,
Japanese fishing crew at a full stop...research research we promise you...fifty whales under the deck...no their not.
Environmental protection...whales...squids...seals...dolphins...they need us...oxygen to carbon to oxygen preservation.
