Good to know...

Eagles fidelity rate is very high meaning that the divorce rate in these species is low. More than 90% of eagles are likely to stay with their partner until they die. Source: The Centre for Conservation

You, the symbol of power,

Freedom, majesty and perfection

Free spirit, high soaring and courageous,

With your death defying swoops

And spiral free flowing in the air,

Do you even know the meaning of life?

We admire you and we see ourselves in you

Wildly struggling to survive

In a world dominated by greed

And the needs of human beings

Not knowing why we’re here

Or what could have been our purpose in life?

While you tolerate the noise

And disturbance around you

We’re more often afraid and we fret

This noise drives away our own sanity

While you flushed and fly high on the wind

Without any effort in flapping your wings.

Why can we not have your sharp vision

The ability to see beyond

The grand scheme of things

Why do we have to pause, halt and look around

Up and below, peep through the hole

Simply to create a peaceful illusion.

You and I, us humans, our individualities

And the lifeblood of who we are

Rushing to get to a certain point in our lives

But in a different direction

And unlike you who are so focused

We’ve lost sight of where we’re going.

We wonder what you say

Before your every flight

Do you even pray to be safe?

And while we kick and scream with faith

You always get through all the storms

You are an amazing creature.

Love and devotion comes naturally from you

You let go of each other, then fly back up in the sky

With the tenacity to return to your nest

If only humans can be like you

Strong, courageous and zealous

Then in our own nest, we won’t feel forlorn.

My idea of high flying life style is...

To fly high and free around the mountain. Soar in spiritual realms and perhaps, touch the face of God. ~

And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin'. Your prison is walking through this world all alone...Desperado. ~
