Have any hubbers published and sold e-books online? What have you learned in the process?
What are your favorite e-publishers, how do you decide on a price point, how do you market your e-books?
I have four ebooks. Originally I sold these as pdf's on my own website and a few other independent websites, but now I sell them on Amazon.com through their Kindle Direct program. I set my price low (1.99), but consistently early more in one month than I normally used to earn in a year from ebooks. The Kindle select program (which I wrote a hub about) allows me to also earn a commission when people borrow my book, which is huge. After the 90 exclusivity contract with Amazon, I've been preparing my ebooks to be listed through smashwords on other platforms. I've needed to straighten out some formatting problems to be approved with smashwords.
