Barter Bistro Day 11 & 12 – Vermiculture is Work
Is the 10th Day of Christmas called “Lords a Leaping” or “Lords Are Leaping”? Either way on Day 10, 11, and 12, no worms were leaping. No barter opportunities are a’bounding, near, far or inbetween. Hmmmm.
It is well known that I love and thrive under positive procrastination activities. It is how everything gets done around our home. Well MOST everything. We can always use a good holiday or get together to get us in gear. Work around the house when football season and great weather comes around leave us left us a little pokey this weekend. It did not help that the book I got from the Library titled, “Eat the Cookie, Buy the Shoes” by Joyce Meyer encouraged us to live a little. This weekend’s enjoyment did not have worms on the agenda.
I spent at least 14 hours crossing things off my master “To-Do” list in order NOT to clean out the back of the garage. Oh yes, it is a mess. Yikes.
Tonight, Day 13, We’ll get fresh grass for the composter when we mow and set up the composter. I needed a few layers of fresh clippings and will have to convince Hubby to catch the grass. My plan it to bury wheat bread in the composter and see if any worms can be lured into the bin.
