Yes, you can still claim your daughter unless she wants to claim herself, which she can do. The age limit to claim your child is 23 and I'm sure you know that it makes a big impact on the amount you might owe and get back during tax time. Having a dependent when filing is definitely beneficial. Also there is a little loop whole if she makes too much in one year you won't be able to claim her, but typically someone working part time won't hit that mark.

It has got to be an employer's market, a cousin of mine called and said that he got a job. The employer said that he was to work part time and was expected to be on call virtually at all times the store was open. Of course, no benefits outside the crappy compensation. What the hell is going on...
