Funding the Wrong Military

Another Bad Idea

Good morning Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, April 14, 2014. Antoine is here with me at the breakfast table. He requests the pleasure of your company this morning. He is very disturbed about President Obama's desire to dramatically increase the amount of money being sent to the United Nations to support its so-called peace keeping forces. Antoine is serving luscious croissants and lattes this morning. Won't you join us?

A Global Military

Bonjour mes amis. Il est moi, Antoine. I am more than a little concerned about your President's push for a 33 percent increase in taxpayer funding to the United Nations and other international organizations. Your hard earned money will be used by the United Nations to prop up dictators in South Sudan, the Congo, and Mali, to name just a few. The U.N. already has about 100,000 troops scattered across the world along with 15,000 civilians. Clearly, your President Obama doesn't think this is enough. He and the United Nations want more, much more. This insane request comes at a time when your President is trimming your own military and short changing the soldiers in every possible way. This year alone, your President Obama fired nine generals and flag officers. Many generals believe that this move was part of a much larger plan that seeks to reduce United States standing in the world. Efforts are under way to turn your military into a corps of social workers to combat matters of global warming, global poverty and injustice. This plan meshes perfectly with your President's request for additional funding for the U.N. He is working daily to turn your once great nation into a cog in the wheel of a larger global government.

The Future

One World Government

If President Obama gets his way, the U.N., along with other international groups, would receive more than $4 billion in addition to further expenditures for the global military. This flow of your money to the rest of the world is only the beginning. The United Nations is deeply invested in establishing global taxation. The world believes that U.S. taxpayers somehow "owe" the U.N.'s fighting forces this money for keeping them safe in the world. If I could laugh out loud, I would be doing that now.

Enough is Enough!

In this humble bug's opinion, it is time to end the insanity. Not only should you not be handing over your money to the U.N., you should be withdrawing from this corrupt and useless organization. Your Congress should tell your President Obama that they will not sell your nation out for the sake of one happy world government. Your nation should remove itself from the United Nations and send them packing. It really is now or never.

For Love of Country

It is time to remind President Obama that this nation is not his and his alone. This nation belongs to the people and perhaps the bugs too! We will not sit idly by and allow you to diminish and endanger us in the face of very dangerous times. Our interests are best protected by investing in ourselves. It is our military we should be supporting. It is our economy we should be investing in. The United Nations is an organization that would love nothing better than to take away our rights, our money and our standing in the world. Sadly, President Obama doesn't seem to mind.

Antoine's Song

Let's go children of the homeland

The day of reckoning has arrived

Against you tyranny's ugly flag is raised
